Ever since the latest opening of CHP 11 and the introduction of Mephistopheles made my brain keening with the possibility of Lil Sal or rather Salomon since he's not so little anymore, is an exact carbon copy of Mephistopheles? Thus, I began my quest of editing and drawing Mephistopheles's sprites into Salomon and remaking the expressions

It was a challenging since I wanted the expressions to show Salomon's cheery and quirky personality but still having similarities of Mephistopheles. I even made a personal AU where Summoner-chan haves Salomon AND Mephistopheles as her personal familiars and that they're also blood related, specifically being twins (and also because the thought of 6ft+ tall anthromorphic goats tag teaming on me is a very much a nice thought to think about (◡ ω ◡))

As you can see, I changed my photo presentation since there's so much I want to show and having the 10 photos limit is a no-go, considering I have 17 photos in total so do expect these flashy photo collages in future time! (And I'm sorry if it seems too girlish shdjjdd I can't help but to overdo it-)

Majority of the expression making involved of cleaning and redrawing the face area hence the reason to why the expressions lack of originality, except the Crying one where it had to be included since it's a signature look from Lil Sal, one I wholly recognized and remembered a lot (｡•̀ᴗ-)✧

Alright, the reason why there's a Without and With Jacket Variant is because I was indecisive- I busted my ass to erase the jacket and redraw the shoulders but redid it again with another sprite and was about to delete the Without Jacket Variant. However, looking back, I put a lot of effort into it so I kept both versions 乁( . ര ʖ̯ ര . )ㄏ

In the original plan for the With Jacket Variant, I wanted to only colour the innards of the suit and jacket blue, separating Salomon from Mephistopheles but once I thought it over, if we were to view them from behind, no one could tell them apart (other than the small details like the Infernal flame and the ring) hence I coloured the jacket to be white ←(*꒪ヮ꒪*)

In my opinion, I think I did a great job for the outfit and pretty much glad that I kept both versions (人*´∀｀)｡*ﾟ+✨

The staff is getting a say in here because I LITERALLY had to do it from scratch and the reference from Lil Sal's sprite only gave a directory on it's general look, giving not much any details other than very pixelated colours that screws my eyes over- I tried following the colour scheme of the staff but received a comment from my sister that the colour of the gold was too yellow.

Unfortunately, I've compiled the colour layer and line art layer already, meaning that if I want to recolour it back, I have to start all over again with the line art and I DID NOT want that, especially how I wanted to finish the sprite fast when I have the motivation to do so (｡ﾉω＼｡)💦💦 Felt satisfied with the whole look but wanted more details on it but damn am I bad at doing details-

Hello everyone! This is my first post on this blog where I post and reblog Tokyo Afterschool Summoners stuff! Whether it be art, writings or memes! In this post, I'll have the introduction set out then character sprite I've done!

⭐ [Character Sprite Edits] ⭐

I made these character sprite edits since TAS didn't gave the Protagonist(s) the privileges of having other outfits and expressions! I still have a yukata outfit variant in the works so stay tuned! I used up Type 2 character sprite and I had edited the eyes, skin colour and some parts of the sword (you can't see it but it's there-) Everything else like the hair, pants and face features were drawn by me!

I didn't like having the thought of my Protagonist wearing a skirt as she runs through the battle field with slips of panty shots (it's gotta happened at least a few times since there's no way the skirt is going to stay fixed with all those battling and running-) so I switched it out with some good ol' pants! Really had fun doing these so I'm planning to do more outfit variants! Might do for the other Protagonists too ⭐!
