[Small Angst And Fluff] Kar'dokh X Female! Human Reader Different Universe
WARNING This story will contain A small amount of Slight Angst (Missing of home), Yautja being Yautja, and Mentions of Vomiting
A small hum escaped from [Name] as she sat in her room, sitting by her desk while writing down notes and having a collection of figures, DVDs, and such from her favorite movie franchise, the Predator movies. A franchise that she watched during her teenage years, and it was also her father who got her into it in the first place, for which she was thankful. [Name] runs a hand through her [Hair Length] [Hair Color] hair, although she pushes herself away from her desk to stretch her limbs out.
Hearing a few cracks as she shook her head softly, her [Eye Color] eyes were focused on the notes that she had written down for herself, mostly a list of chores that she needed to do before she forgot about them. [Name] soon rolled away from her desk as she got up and stretched her legs out again, shaking her head softly. I need to get food. She thought to herself while walking over to the door, opening it, and walking out of her room, as she closed her door behind her, and she walked downstairs.
Once arriving at the kitchen, which shares the same room as the living room, and has much easier access to the fridge and stove. Opening the freezer to see what she could heat in the microwave, tapping on the handle of the freezer door, and scanning the freezer as she soon reached in to grab a ready breakfast meal, tearing up the box and pulling out a bowl of eggs, bacon bits, and cheese that’s already prepared and needs to heat up. “This will do,” [Name] mutters to herself, poking a few holes in the plastic lid before placing the bowl in the microwave.
[Name] opens a drawer to grab a fork and puts it on top of the counter, taking a deep breath, making a mental note to herself that she needs to make a grocery list whenever she goes to the store since she’s running low on supplies. Only become startled by the microwave’s timer, making her let out a sigh as she rests her hand on her chest, calming down her racing heart since she wasn’t paying any attention due to having other things on her mind. Once she grabs her food and fork, she heads back upstairs to watch a show while she eats.
Eating her breakfast meal, [Name] had put on a random show that she wasn’t even paying attention to. Taking the last bite of her meal, she put the fork down and leaned against her chair while taking a deep breath and sighing softly, turning off the show as she picked up a pen and started writing on a sticky note. The grocery list itself was small since she only needed a few things like drinks, snacks, and cleaning supplies. However, she became unaware that a portal had opened up behind her.
“What the hell?” [Name] looked behind her when she noticed it in her motor’s screen, making her turn her chair around to face the said portal. Her eyes narrowed with confusion and concern, unsure of how a magical portal appeared in her room, trying to think if she was dreaming or if it was real. Pinching herself, which hurts as she rubs her arm softly. “Okay… I’m not dreaming,” She mumbles softly, still rubbing her now sore arm that she pinched. Only to feel like she was getting dragged into the portal by force, which she was.
Entering a portal that just opened and being dragged into by an unknown force, [Name] could only close her eyes when she entered while covering her ears. However, a small yelp escaped from her lips as she landed on solid ground, which was a painful landing. Even though she had cursed the portal through her teeth as she slowly got up, trying to shake off the painful landing and the nausea that was building up. [Name] shook her head softly, pushing away the nausea and regaining her footing.
“What’s an Ooman doing here?” One of the few clan leaders stood from their seat, having witnessed a human fall out of a portal. While others believed it was some kind of trick, some of the guards had their weapons ready and pointed at the intruder. “Wait! I don’t mean any harm!” The room fell silent when the human female spoke in their language, which may have saved her life as her eyes watched the guards and the other clan Elders look at each other, confused and lost at the same time.
One of the elders was the first to break the silence, keeping their eyes on [Name], mostly studying her body language and movements. “How do you know our language, Ooman?” They ask, keeping their eyes on the female before them. “In my universe, I learnt it from the internet and the movies…” She didn’t know how to explain things very well, and being dragged into a different universe wasn’t on her bingo card, along with meeting the Yautja clan leaders.
Silence once again fell upon the room as a few or almost all of them stayed silent this time around. Do they believe a human that somehow appeared in front of them, even though she fell out of the portal? “What’s your name, Ooman?” An elder male Yautja asked, at least that’s what the [Hair Color] [Hair Length] woman thought. “My name is [Name],” She replied to the elder male clan leader. “What do you think, Kar’Dokh?” All the leaders looked over to the Yautja that was named Kar’Dokh.
Kar’Dokh had gotten up from his spot and approached [Name], looking over the human woman before returning to the table, having his arms folded to his chest. “If she’s telling the truth, and there’s no way for her to return to her own ‘Universe’, she must prove herself worthy to become a warrior.” He looked at his fellow clan leaders; surely that was agreeable for them to settle with. “Very well, I agree with this arrangement.” The elder clan leader nods her head in agreement with the others.
“Prove myself? How am I going to do that?” [Name] asked with a confused tone, even though she had watched the movies and read the comics, about how some un-bloods had to prove themselves on a worthy hunt, at least that’s how she understood proving oneself, that’s worthy to be a warrior and be recognized by the clan leaders. “A worthy hunt, test your will to survive, that’s how un-blooded will earn the rank of new blood.” A second elder clan reader replied to her question.
[Name] had gone through training with some un-bloods before she could do any hunts that would test her limits and her will to survive a gruesome hunt. Kar’Dokh had become interested in her when she had proven herself worthy, even though she didn’t seem interested in him, as she would ignore his way of courting her. “Kar’Dokh, I am a human. Don’t you want to court one of the females of your own kind?” She asked while her arms were folded to her chest.
“You’re the one who caught my interest, Ooman.” He pointed out that she was the one that he was interested in, even though [Name] wasn’t exactly sure if humans and Yautja were compatible. “I’m not even sure if we’re compatible,” She just stares at him as her [Eye Color] eyes narrowed softly, surely that her mind was somewhere else, for that matter, as she’s been thinking about her home, family, and friends. “Of course…” She rubs her forehead softly while shaking her head.
-Timeskip-
Something felt off as [Name] had noticed that she had been moody and mostly going to the bathroom in the morning to vomit, making her want to visit one of the few healers that may or may not know the answers. Of course, she had met other humans who were partners with some of the Yautja warriors; they seemed to have adapted in their new surroundings. However for her, she still feels homesick due to missing her family and friends, who might think that she either passed away or got kidnapped.
“[Name]! You look very pale, are you feeling alright?” A human female voice caught the [Hair Color] female off guard, making her look up to her fellow warrior and clan member. “Ah, sorry. I’m not in the right mind space…” [Name] replied to the other female, who frowned at the answer. “I really haven’t been feeling well…” She added, watching her friend nod her head softly with a sympathetic smile. “I hope you feel well soon, maybe speak with one of the healers, they might help you out.” The female waved her hand before walking away.
Shifting softly as [Name] walked to where most of the Yautja healers would be, even though she learn that some of them would be females, but also she saw some warriors that were female; but it’s hard to tell the difference, except for the size, since females tend to be bigger than the males. “Bhu’Ja? Are you here?” She called one of the healers whom she trusted the most, watching as a darkish gray yautja came out from another room. “[Name], how may I help you?” Bhu’Ja asks; she never had anyone come to see her unless it was a wounded warrior or something else.
“I hope I didn’t disturb you, Bhu’Ja… But I feel very off lately, and I want to see if you can help me.” She replied to the healer, hearing Bhu’Ja let out a small clicking sound as she led the human female to a table to sit on while she examined her. “What seems to be the problem?” The Darkish-gray female Yautja asked, hearing what [Name] had noticed in her change of behavior and the morning sickness that she encountered this morning before she came to see the healer.
“You’re with child, [Name].” Bhu’Ja watched as [Name]’s face became pale when she mentioned that she was with child. “H-How is that possible? I didn’t think that we humans were compatible to carry Yautja offspring…” She mumbles softly, only flinching when she hears footsteps that belong to a certain Yautja. “Strange world that we live in,” Bhu’Ja noticed Kar’Dokh had entered the building that they were in. “I heard that you came here…” Kar’Dokh stopped his sentence when he noticed that [Name] had pointed her finger at him.
“You!” She didn’t seem exactly happy, but who could blame her, as her moods haven’t been the greatest, and now she had found out that she was with child. That child is Kar’Dokh’s after all, since she had given up and decided to be his human partner. “Easy, she’s with child.” Bhu’Ja let out a small but silent chuckle, watching as the elder picked up his human mate, although making sure he was gentle. “You’re with child, this is great news.” The elder had put his mate back on the ground, only earning a glare from her. ~ Hello! I want to say that this took me a while to finish because I was having some issues with some personal things that I won't address here.

Also, Bhu'Ja is my Yautja character. I kind of forgot that I had her, and I was planning on redoing her character template (or character sheet, as some of you may call it).
