Music is playing softly in the background as [Name] moves around in her kitchen, fixing her dinner while looking over her shoulder. As she does, flashes appear on the TV screen, which she had left on to watch while she eats. Plus, she had placed a book on the couch's armrest to read right after she finished dinner, a nice way to relax during a heatwave in Los Angeles. She dealt with rude people at her workplace, a cafe that pays well enough, but has insulting and nasty customers.
[Name] runs a hand through her [Hair Length] [Hair Color] hair as she lets out a small sigh, looking at the timer that she had set up for the pasta that was boiling in the pot, stirring once in a while like the box said to do. She walked over to the fridge to grab something to drink. Her [Eye Color] eyes scan through, searching for her favorite drink that she normally drinks after a chaotic day, finding [Favorite drink] in the corner of the fridge. “Ah, there you are.” Grabbing the drink and closing the fridge door, walking back over to the stove.
Soon, after putting together her food and grabbing her drink, [Name] heads over to the couch to have her plate placed on a dinner tray that was gifted to her by her parents, who happen to run a shop of arts and crafts that they do, which makes her worry about their safety. Shaking her head softly as she knew that her parents can handle themselves, since both of them own guns when they were hunters in open country before they moved to Los Angeles to start their business of wooden statures and handmade blankets, along with soap that her mother makes.
[Mother’s Name] had taught her how to make soap when she was young, and even as an adult, [Name] still makes soap in her spare time when she doesn’t have to work or has a day off, since the Cafe is a family business that’s run by a nice elder couple that her parents knew from their highschool year. She started to eat her dinner while watching T.V, usually putting something random on as background noise. Soon, she took a sip of her [Favorite Drink] and placed it down as she continued to eat in peace, sometimes looking at the T.V. when something happened
After finishing eating her dinner, [Name] took her empty plate to the kitchen sink and put her dirty plate in it. As she looks for a plastic container to put some leftovers in, since that’s what she normally takes with her for her lunch breaks. Rubbing the back of her neck as she started to head back to the coach to do some reading, something that she does before going to bed. However, nearly jumped out of her skin as something crashed into her bathroom, making her drop the book to the ground and flinching when a roar that wasn’t familiar or something that she heard before.
Unsure whether she should grab something to defend herself with or just check the noise unarmed, she decided to grab the closest thing within reach, which was a broom that she had forgotten to put away when she was done cleaning the kitchen. [Name] took small steps towards the bathroom with the broom raised, unsure if she should speak out or stay silent, as she never experienced something like a break-in, except that the break-in took place in her bathroom, and sometimes the cops weren’t helpful either.
“Is someone there?” [Name] spoke out while keeping the broom up as a weapon, taking a deep breath before continuing. “I have a weapon, and I’m not afraid to use it…” She used her free hand to open the door, but did not expect to see a creature standing eight or nine feet tall, nor did she expect to see green goo on the bathroom wall and floor. Only to drop her so-called weapon due to the shock that she was in, the creature stared at her before going back to what it was doing, treating the wound that it received from a Detective.
City Hunter, or what the humans have been calling him, ‘Ghost,’ had lost his left arm after fighting a human named Mike Harrigan, fleeing to treat his arm, which is currently in [Name]’s bathroom. His roar might have alerted her and probably her neighbors as well. “Okay, there’s an alien-like creature in my bathroom, and it’s bleeding green blood…” [Name] tries to calm herself down, but that didn’t help since the creature was watching her movements closely, and went back to treat his wound.
A sigh soon left [Name]’s lips as she noticed how badly the City Hunter was wounded, deciding that she would help, or at least try to, since she wasn’t sure how these creatures would react to unwanted help. I need to calm down; I can feel my heart racing out of my chest. She thought to herself before letting out a small breath, surely she never seen anything like this before. However, she read in some newspapers that some gangs were getting killed by an unknown force, mutilated bodies hung upside down, making it hard for the police to identify the victims.
“Your wound looks like it needs to be treated. I have a first aid kit,” She backed away slowly to grab the first-aid kit out of a medical cabinet that she keeps in the hallway, even though she might think the creature might not understand her. [Name] took some medical lessons when needed, since some of her future jobs require her to be able to treat someone’s wounds or something in between. The City Hunter watched the human female’s movements, but only noticed that she was holding a white cloth in her hands.
[Name] stepped back and looked at her handiwork, although her hands were somewhat covered in the creature’s greenblood, and she retreated to the kitchen to wash her hands off. However, the City Hunter didn’t mind a human treating its wound or showing kindness to it. A small clicking noise escaped from the creature, following the hair [Hair Color] female to her kitchen, and looked around as he studied the rooms closely, noting that she lives by herself. However, the hunter was checking behind him, keeping his guard up in case he needed to bolt.
Something made the human female look at the damage to her bathroom wall, unsure of how she would explain it to her landlord and the people who do repairs, doing the math in her head. At the same time, her guest explored her little home, being on high alert since the human detective might follow him here. Letting out a small clicking sound, becoming relaxed but still on his guard, however, [Name] could tell that he was being cautious around her; it was understandable.
Something made [Name] turn her head to face the bathroom and the missing piece of the wall, turning her attention to the tall creature before her. “Go and hide somewhere; whoever or whatever injured you might be coming in the same way that you did.” She points out that she been watching too many crime-related shows, fully aware there will be another visitor soon. [Name] watched as the City Hunter paced around before he decided to hide somewhere that was dark and keep him well hidden.
The closet wasn’t too small or too big, but it will keep the hunter well hidden for the time being, hearing [Name]’s footsteps as she made some noise, like breaking the door open and breaking some pieces of the wall that connects with the door. She was making it look like the hunter had burst out of her apartment, even though he’s currently hiding. A small gasp escaped from her when she noticed a man had entered her bathroom from the hole in the wall, looking at the pipe that he used to walk across.
Michael Harrigan, or known for short, Mik,e stood in front of [Name] with sweat coming down from his forehead while he caught his breath. “Where did he go? A creature came through here,” He pointed at the hole that he came from, making the [Hair Color] haired female look at the bathroom before she looked back at him, making her fold her arms to her chest. “If you’re looking for the creature that broke into my apartment, he went right.” She pointed at the burst-open door and wall, making the officer look at her.
“Thank you, hide somewhere if he ever comes back around,” Mike warned [Name] before rushing out of the Apartment and following the direction that she had given him. She listened for his footsteps as they disappeared. “You can come out, he’s gone.” Doing a second check and making sure that Mike was out of earshot, which he was. The City Hunter came out of the closet, making a small clicking noise before doing a sign language. “Thank you, hooman.” He signed, which made [Name] nod her head softly. “You’re welcome.” She replied.
