It’s officially time to VOTE for the Qualifying Round of TROPED Madness 2.0! The structure is simple! Please rank the thirteen (13) fics, first (1) being your top choice, and thirteen (13) being your last choice! Since we unfortunately did not receive the full Sweet 16, the ranking will be used to order all the authors for the brackets in Round One and we will be working on a way to sort those brackets fairly.

Each fic follows the theme [Romance], includes the tropes [Amnesia AU] and [Tattoos], and has a central character focus on [Echo kom Azgeda]! When you vote, please be sure to take into consideration the USE of all these elements, because, as with all other TROPED events, the purpose is to select the authors who best utilize the requirements!
A Strange Arrangement of Days (Rated T) [Echo x Murphy]
The voice is frantic. Edged with fear. It stirs something familiar deep inside her, but she can’t quite put her finger on why.
“Murphy?” The name leaves her lips instinctively and then she blinks and frowns at herself because she can’t quite remember who Murphy is.
Or the Echophy Horror/Summer Camp AU/Amnesia AU/Tragic Romance/Magic Tattoos AU that absolutely nobody asked for.
i won't wake up unless you ask if i am ok (Rated T) [Echo x Harper]
Summary: She wakes up cold, surrounded by steady, mechanical beeping and fluorescent lights. Her world is blurry, as if her eyes were accustomed to seeing. Unaccustomed to doing their job. Her out of focus eyes begin to dial in on the nearest thing in the room: a woman with long, light brown hair and pale pink scrubs. A nurse.
She doesn’t know where she is, but she does know she shouldn’t be there. Shouldn’t be here. Her eyes dart to her left arm, to the IV. But they catch on something else. A barcode etched into her arm in ink. Something about it is familiar, but not comforting. It turns her stomach as she reads the numbers in her mind, like it was etched into her mind with ink as well: 0883929444793. The numbers rattle around in her brain, searching for somewhere to latch on, for some memory to link the familiarity. But it finds nothing.
Nothing to Hold (Rated T) [Echo x OC]
Summary: Echo was sent to capture Octavia, to bring her before King Roan. She failed. Though the fall from the cliff did not take her life, it did take her memories. With no past, suddenly she has a chance to rewrite her future, to be born again, phoenix-like, from the ashes.
Tattoos Like Mile Markers (Rated M) [Echo x Niylah]
Summary: Echo wakes up in the hospital to discover she has lost seven years of her memory. Where did all these tattoos come from? And who is the strange woman in her hospital room?
The one thing you could never do (Rated T) [Echo x Bellamy]
Summary: Echo Espaco is a victim of one of the most prolific child kidnappers in the world, and it definitely did a number on her, but she has channeled that into solving child abduction cases, which is how she met Bellamy Blake, a detective with the NYPD, and the love of her life. Only... he doesn't know that.
So when Echo is on a case and gets knocked out, and suddenly her world seems perfect, where she has everything she wants, a nagging feeling in the back of her mind pushes her to remember.
Will she solve the case and figure out what it is she needs to remember?
WIll she get to keep the guy?
who i want you all to see (Rated G) [Echo x Emori]
Summary: After the Last War, Echo thinks that she's finally found a sense of peace. Back on her home planet and surrounded by her closest friends, there's nothing at all that can go wrong. It's a fresh start, in more ways than one.
Until, that is, Emori shows up on the beach without any memory at all, and Echo's forced to learn that fresh starts can be a little more complicated than that.
hands not fit for holding (but I’ll hold you all the same) (Rated M) [Echo x Bellamy]
Summary: Echo doesn’t remember, but Bellamy is cursed to be forgotten. In brief pockets of time, they fall for each other despite it all.
Can't Do Better Than This (Rated G) [Echo x Clarke]
Summary: Echo has no idea who she is. More specifically, Echo fell down a hill and smacked her head against a rock, and now she LITERALLY has no idea who she is.
What she does have is a series of tattoos that guide her as she tries to regain her lost memories, and a tattoo artist slash best friend slash possible love of her life named Clarke who's all too willing to help her.
i think i loved you, once (Rated T) [Echo x Lexa]
Summary: Echo runs into a familiar face, a once friend, a past lover. Or maybe they don't need to be past lovers anymore.
“You’re more familiar. I’ve seen you since.” Echo didn’t need to specify since what.
Lexa dipped her head. “I was at your bedside when you woke up for the first time.”
“Then why haven’t I seen you since?”
in the cracks of light (i dreamed of you) (Rated T) [Echo x Wells]
Summary: Echo loses her memory on a mission, and is left with a fake life she doesn't remember and a fake husband that doesn't seem as fake as he should be.
Forget-Me-Not Blue, I Love You Two (Rated G) [Echo x Hope x Gabriel]
They think she feels this way just because she keeps forgetting about how they got to Skyring and that they're trying to leave the planet in a few years time. They think it's all because she forgets that Bellamy even exists.
But she loves Hope and Gabriel. She really, truly loves them both.
And memory loss or not, she's going to prove it to them.
And So It Went (Rated T) [Echo x Bellamy]
Summary: Five strangers wake up on a spaceship with no memories of who they are or why they're there. When they split into two factions, Echo finds herself growing closer and closer to her counterpart, with no explanation as to why it's so easy.
The Forgotten (Rated T) [Echo x Octavia]
Summary: Echo wakes up with very little recollection, of, well everything. After being saved from near-certain death by a somewhat chaotic trio, she begins to remember her past, and as the puzzle pieces fall into place, she realizes that something terribly important is missing. Or perhaps it's someone?
