The Prospectors:
It's the year 2091, and The Prospectors Inc exist to unearth the world's wonders. For Cirro and Nimbus of Air Sector, the sky is the limit when professional ruin leads them to the journal of their late mentor, Stratus. The old man's writings take them high above the Airondack Mountains, to the sky bound city of Cael and its winged people known simply as the Alatum. Much like their reputation on the ground below, the duo's airship crashes and burns—casting them into the custody of surly guardian Kite and Nightingale's governing council. With Cael's officials watching over them like hawks they discover the wonder, mystery and disappointment wrapped up in the Alatum's existence. But what seems a heavenly discovery turns south when the pressures of duty and success drive a rift in Air Sector's bond. It's a divide that Cirro and Nimbus must learn to bridge without the aid of wings to carry them, before both land and sky are mined bare in the name of greed and the craze for power.
