Lady Shiera Seastar, or the Star of the Sea, is known to Westerosi history as the last Great Bastard of King Aegon IV, daughter of his last mistress, Serenei of Lys. The annals would also name her the greatest beauty of her age. Slim, yet bosomy, with long, thick curls that were said to fall well beyond her waist and to shine in the customary Targaryen silver-gold, and bearing a heart-shaped face with full lips and strangely large, mischievous eyes of different colors--deep blue and bright green--she was a profound seductress. It was said that she was not limited to her physical appearance, as she spoke a dozen tongues and possessed a vast knowledge of literature, particularly that of the arcane. Historians of the time would go on to speculate that Shiera, like her mother, was a practitioner of the dark arts, which allowed her to maintain her beauty and youthful appearance. She favored ivory and lace and silver, shying away from gold, which she deemed too vulgar. She would notably wear a gaudy silver necklace decorated with a simple pattern of sapphires and emeralds that mirrored her captivating eyes. She'd never wed, though took many a lover, which would fuel a number of duels to win her favor. It would be written, however, that her most dedicated admirer who she often shared her bed with was her half-brother, Brynden Rivers, better known to many as Lord Bloodraven.
Lord Brynden Rivers was the second to last of Aegon IV's four Great Bastards, followed only by his paramour and half-sister, Shiera Seastar. Brynden loyally served the Targaryen crown until he would be made to take the black to avoid death for his involvement in Aenys Blackfyre's death. Tall and lean, though not particularly imposing, Brynden's skin was a milk-white complexion as a result of his albinism, with a single red eye and shoulder-length white locks. Having lost his left eye during the First Blackfyre Rebellion and sporting a complimentary scar, the Bloodraven held no reservations in choosing not to conceal the wound. The name "Bloodraven" is said to have originated as a result of the large port-wine stain birthmark that stretched from the right side of his throat to his right cheek, a mark that many would say resembled that of a raven. In his life before taking the black, Rivers was known as the most zealous of Shiera's pursuers, asking for her hand numerous times and constantly facing rejection, all while she basked in his jealousy. Cunning, brooding, and grim, he favored dark shades of blacks, greys, and reds, and was know to often don a black hooded cloak to shield his light-sensitive skin that would only add to his unnerving appearance. While it was said he'd disappeared while ranging beyond the Wall in 252 AC, he would later be discovered by Bran Stark to be the three-eyed raven and last greenseer living amongst the children of the forest.
Born to King Viserys II Targaryen and Lady Larra Rogare, Princess Naerys Targaryen arrived to the realm in 138 AC. The youngest, and only female child of the king, Naerys was said to carry the customary otherworldly beauty of the Targaryens, as she bore large, deep violet eyes, and pale, nearly translucent skin, as well as the traditional silver-gold hair of the family, though she often kept it tightly bound or concealed altogether.
A small, slim girl, Naerys was quite frail and sickly in her youth, leading her to develop an emaciated appearance as she grew. However, as delicate a girl she was said to be, she was fiercely pious and found great comfort in The Seven-Pointed Star, and it was understood that had it been allowed by her father, she wished to be a septa. This book, and the faith, itself, were said to be the only competition to the love she held for her elder brother, Aemon Targaryen.
As many knew it, Naerys was much closer to and loved her brother Aemon more than her eldest brother who she'd come to be wed, future King Aegon IV (the Unworthy). Similar in character, and one of the few to be able to draw a laugh from the princess, the knight, deemed the most noble by many, was said to love Naerys in equal measure. History would note that after the princess was wed to Aegon, both Naerys and Aemon wept, and Aemon openly quarreled with his brother.
Aemon, a member of the Kingsguard in his own right, never failed to defend his dear sister's honor at every opportunity, doing so even under the guise of a mystery knight known as the "Knight of Tears" to be able to crown her as the tourney's queen of love and beauty. He would also defend her against claims of adultery and treason, slaying the knight who accused her in a trial by combat, which only further bolstered his reputation.
In Aemon and her son Daeron would Naerys find the sole solace that her life was willing to offer. Though the birth of her dear son was extremely taxing on the young queen, and maesters would warn against any more childbirths, Aegon would dismiss her requests for the couple to live as brother and sister, insisting she was to perform her "wifely duties" for life. It would be for this reason, amongst many, many others, that the marriage was one of great unhappiness, as Aegon would cite nine mistresses as the only women he'd ever loved, and none would be Naerys.
While Naerys would suffer many childbirths, many of which would end in stillbirths and long, treacherous recoveries in which she'd nearly die, she would go on to birth one more child, a girl who was supposed to be born alongside a twin brother, though he was stillborn. The princess would be named Daenerys, the second of her name.
Ultimately, Queen Naerys' bleak life would come to an end as many a Westerosi woman's would, as she died giving birth to a child that was never to appear in the annals, leading many to conclude the babe died alongside her. Her death would follow a year after her true love's, as Aemon had died while defending their brother against an assassination attempt, and with them died what many court singers would say was a tragic love story.
i decided to, like with my bratz post, do a redux on my monster high sims with my updated sim style and newer format, and i absolutely love how they came out. i originally never even posted the cleo or frankie sims i made, but now, i'm obsessed. monster high was my childhood 100% and i was so happy to make these :33

Elinor Costayne, Jeyne Westerling, and Rhaena Targaryen, as well as Tyanna of the Tower (or Tyanna of Pentos), a wicked woman who's eyes and ears seemed so far-reaching that none could escape.
Elinor, Jeyne, and Rhaena came to be known as Maegor I's "Black Brides" after he wed the three widowed women in a single ceremony in 47 AC, doing so in an effort to sire an heir, as each woman's fertility had been proven.
Each woman had been widowed at the hand of Maegor in some way or another, whether it be in a war of his, or at his direct command. One of the queens, Rhaena, was his niece, previously wed to the ill-fated Aegon I, who himself was her brother that had been usurped by Maegor.
Elinor and Rhaena would be the only wives out of Maegor's six to Maegor to survive his reign, but not without the mental scars to show for it.
