Stories I’ve liked on Emmerdale -not robron together
Robert, Andy, Eve, Ollie, Mark, Donna and Katie ran over their head teacher, hid it and eventually confessed and only Mark Reynolds served jail time, the rest had community service. It involved the parents, it involved a court case.
Chas pulling a fast one on Carl when she learned he cheated on her with Eve, while she was worried about Aaron and Jackson. She stole the money he gave her for the wedding, bought into the woolpack and blew up their Christmas Day wedding. Aaron wasn’t at the wedding, but knew about the cheating and leaving him at the altar.
Aaron coming out in court and the whole coming out story was just really good and the aftermath.
Ryan Lamb finding out that Mark Wilde was his father and he was making out with his half sister, Maisie. That story was pretty well done.
SSW 2016 the whole thing was just so good.
Ashley’s dementia storyline was such a good story. His special episode was fantastic and having characters you know played by people you didn’t know was such a choice. Arthur being stresssed by his dad falling apart was heartbreaking.
Marlon’s stroke was really well done, it shows some of the reasons why April is now having issues now I think. mark charnock has done a really good job.
The county lines story line now that Celia has become involved has gripped me a lot more than at the beginning. Celia is terrifyingly brilliant character and I wish she could stay but I know she has a shelf life.
Lisa’s remarriage and death story was really well done. I was so sad when she died but she was so good.
Aaron’s anger at his mom after she cheated on Paddy in 2009 and refused to leave Paddy and moved in with him and stopped talking to Chas when she treated him really badly because he hated Carl and sabotaged his car. They didn’t really talk until he tried to commit suicide in April 2010. It was about 6 months.
Aaron’s self harm in 2010-11, and in 2015-2016 stories were so good. I really thought they were well done and sad.
