I love characters who want to help because it’s all they ever wanted, I love characters who want to help because they’re making up for the times they didn’t want to, I love characters who want to help because they think this particular brand of helping is fun, I love characters who want to help because they don’t want anyone else to go through what they went through, I love characters who want to help because it’s the only way they feel loved and needed, I love characters who want to help because they’re inherently good and kind and compassionate, I love characters who want to help because it’s the only thing keeping them going, I love characters who want to help for the glory and the praise, I love characters who want to help because they feel like it’s their destiny, I just love characters who want to help!!

Ok, one of my new favourite character tropes is characters wearing their wedding rings on anywhere but their ring finger. Like on a necklace, on their horns, as earings, etc. I feel like it says a lot about character on how they wear their wedding rings and I think it's very cool. And then seeing that characters partner/s wear their rings different is litterally so cool. Please I want to see more of this.

So, there’s a possible fey-shenanigans campaign upcoming amongst my dnd group, and I started making a character who was a doll who became a warlock, but then my family went on a carriage tour and-

The woman who gave us the tour was truly something else. She drove the horses. She told stories in a slow but endless stream, with interjections like, “you know, rifles, right” and “a man came down from the sky. weird, right? stranger danger.” she was constantly scolding Ryan, the lazy horse.

I’m going to make an eloquence bard with a custom background based on her. It’s going to be GREAT.
