i remember you said rustic houses were made with natural blocks
if i were to mine out a cave for a house would that be rustic
Well that depends entirely on how you decorate the interior.
If you leave the walls and floors plain stone, no, it's not rustic. It's a hole in the wall.
If you decorate the walls and such, then it could be!
okay...
i think im following
[FUCK I THINK CAT'S RG I KNEW THEY WERE A MOD BUT I COULDNT REMEMBER IF THEY WERE YOU OR RG]
And now that the roof is done is time for smaller details. A chimney, windows, trapdoors, plants. All of it.
Just remember to keep depth.
A good thing to do with your windows is embed them. Cut out a bit of your wall, and place the windows one block back, putting a darker wood around it on the inside.
okay. done. i might've accidentally made it go underground immediately and have like a living room, bedroom, and kitchen planned out.
and dug out.
[yee you're cat-in-the-desert right?]
[also all of these were genuine.]
Ah. Well, this can still be worked with. You might just have a tall ceiling. And there's nothing wrong with that.
But next, you need to build the roof. I'll do a strip, and you need to spread it along the walls.
Okay done i think i got it. Whats the next step??
(Also btw evog/ctom mod here lol forgot to mention that)
Good job! Now I'm going to mark where, and you need to put up support pillars there. I'll do the first one so you know how tall to make it.
Then after you've got the support beams, fill in between them with wood. The wood follows on top of where the cobble is.
Note how the support beams are raised from the wall, creating depth.
npg help i dont know how to rustic a house and i'd like to
I'd love to help you! I can give a step by step tutorial.
Step one, you need an outline for the base. Look, I'll draw this shape on the ground. You need to build cobble up from the line.
