Designed branded wine labels for my fictional wine, Siber Wine. Includes front, back, and top artwork for a chardonnay, a merlot, and a pinot noir. Also shown is a basic example of what the labels would look like if they were actual stickers on each shape of bottle.

Amateur Wine Tasting: Double Feature!!

Two Chardonnay’s at once!  

1.  Deorges Duboef 2012 Puilly-Fuisse:  Wine is a white wine, clear, slightly gold color, very bright.  Viscosity is medium.  Nose is clean, notes of fruit, fresh citrus, limes, lemons, green apples, fresh apples, minerality, definite smell of alcohol.  On the palate wine is high in mineral notes, brook water, wet stone, as well as light fruit notes of apples and green pears.  Wine’s body is medium, and smooth.  Acidity is high, tart and refreshing, and the finish medium to medium long.  A very pleasant and well balanced wine, I’ll say 89/100

2.  Black Stallion 2013 Chardonnay, Napa Valley:  Wine is a white wine, clear, pale golden color.  Wine’s viscosity is medium.  On the nose wine is clean, very buttery, (I Can’t Believe It’s Not Butter,” (note from my brother),  toasted notes, heavy oak influence, muting other possible aromas.  On the palate wine is medium-full bodied, notes of butter, buttered popcorn, buttered toast, slightly burnt popcorn.  Wine’s acid is present, but mild.  A very overoaked wine.  79/100
