It was the early morning and Haebin was tired but with a cup of coffee in hand as she made her way to Yongsan on the metro. She was lucky to leave just before rush hour to have a seat open and just breath easy. This was the first time to ever go to an audition in general. Haebin has signed up just for the hell of it and now she is a step closer to be part of a commercial for KT’s new app. Of course its a slim chance but just having the opportunity is enough to have just a nudge into a good direction. The script wasn’t too hard to remember but she knew just memorizing it wouldn’t get the part.
After dodging through people heading for work she arrived at 8:00am. It wasn’t in her nature to take her sweet time, this was important. She went to the destination and went up to the receptionist with the proper information. It seemed she wasn’t the only one who came first thing and went to sit among them. Haebin didn’t really talk to anyone around, just gave a few hellos while she waited to be called next. It didn’t take too long to be called and directed to a small room where two individuals sat with a camera in the middle of them. She knew what needed to be done but it didn’t mean she couldn’t be a little nervous. Whether she does well or not, right now she just need show her lovely face and act out the script the best she can.It was going to be a bit weird acting out the actions but nothing too crazy.
“My name is Han Haebin and I’d like to thank you for this opportunity.” She smile was kept soft and then moved onto the acting out the script. 15 seconds felt a lot longer than the time actually was. Showing the shy side of her was not something she was use to even if it was being acted out but if one thing she was confident about was her smile since it was natural for her. Acting as if she were picking grapes and then talking to the camera was hard not to giggle but just channeled that positive energy to her body and relax a bit. As long as if felt it was over the moment after she whisked her hand in a circle motion and held her finger in the air giving off as much subtle aegyo as she could.
Simple and clean, the audition was done. She said thank you one more time and headed out of the room. Haebin wasn’t as nervous as she thought in the beginning and if anything, it was actually pretty fun. Of course Haebin wasn’t going to expect much but was glad she did this in the first place. It would be nice to get picked but hey, she wouldn’t have gone anywhere if she didn’t try.
