Of course after Charity heard all about the mystery man, Micah, she agreed witn Aron, that Vada should stay around closer to home.
VADA- “Why would I think that you would hear me out...I should have known you’d take his side.”
CHARITY- “Vada it is not about sides, it’s about being careful. We do not know who this guy is, and if he is really here to warn you of anything. Who knows what his motives are, or even where he is from!”
VADA- “This place is horrible. I wish we could go back to Willow Creek and have a normal life.”
CHARITY- “You and me both, but we aren’t we are here, and witches...friends maybe even your grandfathers are dead. So we stay here, seperated from your parents. Do you think you are the only one that is making sacrifices here Vada. You are fifteen years old---
VADA- “I will be sixteen tomorrow.”
CHARITY- “Fine you are sixteen years old, and until you can learn to be more logical and RESPONSIBLE, you will abide by the rules. Do you understand?”
CHARITY- “Come over here and sit down, we need to talk.”
VADA- “Why you have already made up your mind. I get it, stay close, don’t run off by myself. Do any of you realize that I am a more powerful witch that either of you?”
CHARITY- “We realize it Vada, but we also realize that you are irresponsible and do things spontaneous with out giving any thought to your actions. You may be a more powerful witch, but Aron and I are much older and wiser. It would do you good to learn a few things from him. Aron is very wise.”
VADA- “I can see my future, I know what lies ahead, at least somewhat. Nothing is going---
CHARITY- “Just because you see it that way now, doesn’t mean that your actions and decisions can not change that future Vada. And traipsing around the village and the jungle is NOT responsible on your part when there is some strange man about. Trust me I know first hand about being irresponsible. Remember it was me that invited a vampire-witch into our home, and your grandfathers are still missing because of it.””
