I will wake up, put on my suit and tie, pack my vespa and ride aprox 150kms where I meet a Vespa Club. I will give some interviews, take pictures, and explain to everybody why they should put money on the table of the club so their president can donate it the next day to their national child cancer foundation. To make it easier I will have some patches and sticker with me that they can buy to donate. We will eat and drink and laugh and have fun. I will hopefully have a couch somewhere to sleep and the next day I will repeat that with the next club ... and the next . For aprox 240-250 days and 25.000 kms in 40 countries . And if all goes well I come home healthy and have met a lot of amazing people and together we donated maybe 200-250.000€ for kids with cancer ! So that is the plan ! Everyone should share this with as many people as possible. Riders know this, but the general public may not be aware. If you have never been part of a benefit ride you should know at least this:
Bikers PAY to ride. Something they could do for free. But they choose to pay to ride, the fee can be anywhere between $10 to $20 or $30 per person. Not only do they pay to ride, they usually drop a lot of cash for the extras. Raffles, 50/50, and silent auction.
When you see a group ride by, they are probably riding for charity/great causes/benefits! Instead of getting upset because they blocked traffic or caused you a slight delay, please remember this: They are very generous people!!!
Give them space and your patience. It sometimes helps to have a little reminder about things. So please be patient and smile when you see them because they are doing something good for someone you may know.

That is my raw #roadtrip plan for my #vespa #charityride on a #vespa50 from 1971 for next year . I hope to meet as many clubs as possible all over Europe during this tour and motivate them to donate for kids cancer Organisations in their countries. Kids are our future and also in times of Corona we cannot forget our weakest! #vespatour #vespatrip #vespista #charity #vespareise #vespaevent #vespaclub #vespagram (hier: La Vida Vespa - 80 Days around the World by Markus Mayer) https://www.instagram.com/p/CJBqFrrhuud/?igshid=1hiu2pl3ek65u
