OMG!! Me, too! I ship it! I wanted him to kiss her soooo badly!

As I was watching the film I was thinking either it was going to be Malificent or Diaval to kiss her awake. I was happy it was Malificent but upset nothing developed between Diaval and Aurora in the end. I don't know whether it was intentional or not but I saw the way he looked at her and I felt that Philip was just thrown in the film for the sake of it. If you didn't know the story of Sleeping Beauty you'd think the romance between Philip and Aurora was just random.
