THE SCULPTURED HOUSE. On a Colorado mountainside, 25 miles west of Denver, Charles Deaton is building a live - in sculpture of his own design, which he plans to occupy as a private residence. The homes of tomorrow, he believes, must go beyond “ the traditional functions of shelter, fashion, device and symbol ” and take into account intangible human needs. 1966
