I had the pleasure of photographing Charles Best for @wsj Weekend Confidential and it's out now online and tomorrow in print. Charles is the founder and CEO of @donorschoose, the charity he started in 2000 to allow teachers to raise funds for supplies, projects, field trips, etc. that they used to have to pay out of pocket on their low teacher salaries. Now 21 years later, DonorsChoose has raised over $1.1 billion to support 2 million projects in public schools across the country.
