Apparently Alan Moore doesnāt approve of the HBO Watchmen series. That no surprise. But does it matter? Moore himself based the original comic series on other creatorās work. While DC obviously gave him permission, did Moore seek the approval of the people who created the various Chaleton comic characters? Iām guess he didnāt. Thatās the way the comic business works.
Iām feeling a little indifferent to the HBO series. Iām not sure I want to watch a show about race relations. I donāt get HBO so unless thereās a free weekend after to series starts, problem solved.
Regarding Damon Lindelof, Iām also dubious of his achievements. āLostā is a mixed bag with a bad ending. Based on the commentary tracks for āAlien Covenantā he is also responsible for the incredible plot holes (welk, Ridley Scott shares the blame).
