Thinking about copcat first kiss and after it TC is like “well I’ll be damned, Officer Dibble” and Dibble interrupts him with “Charlie. It-it’s Charlie” and TC looks at him with the widest most heart filled eyes anyones ever seen and Dibble immediately gets so embarrassed he can’t even look at TC for a solid minute

How do you think Top Cat should end if it were to have a proper finale?

I feel like it can go several ways, really. So that’s one possibility..

In my opinion, the way I see T.C’s character in the series and even the comics, if he were to be able to score a neat sum of cash in the future that enables the gang to live comfortably..he wouldn’t really put effort into scamming anymore.

Perhaps not everyone sees it this way because different people may interpret this character in different ways, but really - with the hints we see in the series, when things are going well and the gang’s living large, he’s not thinking about how to go out and get even more money. Not only that, but he easily and willingly shares. That tells you something about the character.

I like to think the gang eventually settles in better conditions and perhaps all start families. It’s SUPER communal, too. Like each one of these kittens has 6 dads and 3 godfathers, there’s a ton of love and support to go around even when money’s tight. Choo choo doesn’t have a family, he has a COLONY. Cue hilarious but inappropriate jabs from T.C about birth control. Don’t mind him he’d kill anyone who so much as looks at one of Chooch’s kids wrong

One of my favorite HCs of all time is that if T.C has a son he’d be over the moon with him, talking about him like he’ll be the greatest genius of his generation. But whenever Dibble watches the adorable kitten just bleping, staring into space without a thought behind those eyes he just wants to CACKLE.

Coz perhaps smarts needs to skip a generation lest T.C’s family becomes too powerful for the world. If he has a little girl afterwards she’ll be very sharp tho.

T.C doesn’t like applying himself physically in any job and that won’t really change. Eventually, he’ll make others work for him in the occasional job Dibble doesn’t kill him over (isn’t morally questionable. Maybe) and will make okay money once in a while. They’ll be able to move out of the alley and into simple studio apartments, all in the same area. But they’ll crash with Dibble when necessary. A lot. He has no choice in the matter.

This is totally random (sorry!) but I just remembered Hawaii Here We Come and started grinning to myself XD you know how first episodes are usually all about ‘character introduction to the audience/defining character trait’ yada yada? Every time I remember that Dibble’s defining character trait that he’s indeed a very gentle and compassionate person under the tough-cop exterior is him sobbing in uniform under a goddamn palm tree in Hawaii thinking about the cats instead of having fun and the drama of it all makes me laugh more than it should 🤣 I love this show and its dramatic cats and dramatic humans

He was genuinely crushed omfg 😭 to the precinct Dib is a hardened man who doesn't let his emotions get in the of his work, however the minute Dib gets home he's totally the kind of guy who watches soap operas unironically and starts BAWLING at the drama. (neither T.C. nor Spook has learned this, they would bully him relentlessly)

Brain and Chooch have caught him crying over Barbara Manatee a few times and each time Dib makes them swear to NEVER let T.C. find out or it's over for him

This turned into a headcanon on accident my b but yes everything you said is in fact correct and I wholeheartedly agree i fucking love these stupid ass cats and that goofy ass policeman 👍
