i think about charlie kelly in such a silly little way. i have never encountered a character so gleefully and adorably WEIRD and WRONG. he is 100% a vile, slimy man with the temperament of a baby bird. he'd be my friend, and i'd bitch about it, but i would LOVE the shit out of him. he makes being a degenerate seem lovable!

Once again another old drawing but this time it’s from 2022 and it’s Benny from The LEGO Movie (2014) and The LEGO Movie 2: The Second Part (2019) who is played by Charlie Day who would later voice Luigi in The Super Mario Bros. Movie (2023) anyways Benny is one of my favorite absolute favorite characters from The LEGO Movie and I always loved his obsession with spaceships were always really funny that he would keep suggesting to build one in the first movie, I especially love that his design is based on the classic astronaut minifigure which is one of the earliest minifigures in general with space theme sets including how the helmet has a bit of a broken piece too is a pretty neat reference and also this was my first time drawing something space related background and the moon is supposed to look like the Mixel moon from the Mixels episode “Mixel Moon Madness” anyways enjoy another old drawing from one of my favorite animated films and one of my favorite characters in general! 💙💙💙
