Eric also blew it out of the water there with the sheer GLEE Daniel showed at seeing Lestat break. Just incredible, imho.
But yeah. Sam Reid. Going through allllll the emotions and just... ALL of it. I remember having no words after, I have cried several times over this episode, and the way they did it, and the way they DROVE THAT POINT HOME.
How Jacob narrated it, too. Making it all sooooo much WORSE.
