Today marks the 50th Anniversary of the Loving vs. Virginia case. The Lovings fought for the right to love and marry whomever they wished regardless of color. Color is superficial. Love is true and goes beyond the surface. Growing up in a very liberal area like the Bay Area allowed me to see past race and color. I'm grateful for this but understand that hate and ignorance still exist in this country. As pessimistic as I can be, I'm still hoping for the best. I want everyone regardless of race, color, sex, gender, etc. to be able to love how and who they want to love. @rhynohendon and I bring Scottish, English, Lebanese and Korean blood to our love.
