soothe: what's one thing that always makes you feel better when you're upset?
That is kind of difficult, because it does depend a lot. Something to absorb my mind usually helps - a video game or a book if I’m feeling well enough, maybe a show if I’m not, or just taking a fricking nap.
Hugs are usually pretty great, though.
ponder: what do you want to do with your life?
I’m still working on this one, really. Right now, I want to get to a place in my life where I can work out what I want to do; a place where I can balance work and health and life in a sustainable way, rather than a massive imbalance where everything is spiralling downhill. So that’s what I would want now.
Longer-term - I’d like to be involved with some sorts of advocacy or support. I’d like to develop my writing and learn to draw. I’d like to know and befriend and love more and more people. I’d like a cat. Or two cats. And maybe some hens. And maybe a goat or two. And... look don’t @ me I love animals.
waxing: what is your proudest accomplishment?
Straight up, my proudest accomplishment is leaving home at 18 and surviving all the shit before and after that. I know that sounds kind of cheesy, and that most people have better accomplishments than just ‘staying alive’, but a lot of shit has been so hard and so ridiculous and I am in fact proud of myself for keeping going and managing it all.
