I think my imagination is too active bcs I immediately thought of an AU where MC is present in Camelot during wedding prep and they and Arthur get closer during the however many weeks/months it takes to set up a royal wedding until the wedding day arrives and they realise that they've fallen in love with the other and now have to rethink the arrangement with Guin (bcs love~) but also rethink how to maintain a proper alliance with Cameliard

Just....the drama, the angst, the mutual pining but the other doesn't know it, "should I risk an alliance between our kingdoms? What if they don't feel the same? What if they do?" Meanwhile, Bran's in the bg, fuming bcs "of course MC would ruin the wedding!" (probs not in the way he expected tho)

I think I need to get back into watching drama 🤭

Yes, honestly the AU idea...I think that would make an interesting side story or even AU mini game lol. I think there's a lot of angst in that idea and I'm a sucker for angsty stuff. An also mutual pining. Ugh so good!!!

Drama is an excellent genre :) add a lil romance, some angst, and secret meetings...and then I'm hooked lol

Replaying the demo and I can't believe I forgot to mention the pets 😭 more importantly, do James and our mum know exactly what MC's pet is?? 👀 I know we've probably mentioned it in one of our letters but I think it's funnier if MC was super vague about what kind of animal their pet actually is so that, when said pet arrives, reactions can range from "oh, that's sweet" to "what the fuck". Like,,,

raven/nightingale? Okay, well, birds are common in royal households so that makes sense (I've only really heard of falcons but whatever)

ferret? Uncommon but they're cute

goose? Okay, so we're already heading into aggressive animal territory but at least MC has a ready bodyguard (no offense, Constantine 😅)

lion/wolf aka literal apex predators? .....how'd MC get them in the first place?? Who indulged MC's Princess Jasmine fantasies of owning an animal that's at the top of the food chain??? Was it the Quartermaster? Did MC find an injured lion/wolf one day during their walk, nursed it back to health, and now it won't leave?? Is this just Royal PrivilegeTM? It's probably the privilege

Hmm, I was thinking only Anna would know the specifics and then MC rocks in XYZ pet.

There will definitely be a range of reactions which will I will try to make varied and unique for the different animals.

Someone is definitely getting chased. Maybe more than one person 😈 And I think the pet should have a command word that MC can say to get them to attack or do something to scare the shit out of people. perhaps im getting unhinged here...

Someone on the COG forum asked if the lion/wolf would be a cub and I was like "I mean, I guess it could be" but I'd prefer for them to be grown. Can you imagine? Where are gremlin MCs/anons when you need them lol maybe they aren't happy I left out raccoons
