🌿Info About The Animal Jam Gaia AU

This is my big general AU where i put all my headcanons and lore. It's an umbrella au for all my others (If i end up making any lol).

It's mostly worldbuidling rn and doesn't have a major story attached to it yet.

Anyone can feel free to make ocs of the species i made up!

This is mostly like my little zen garden for fun so it's not gonna be too crazy.

"I'll call you, I'll call you tomorrow." 

Tim thought about it. He didn't know Jason, but they did just perform a duet together after all....It couldn't hurt to give him his number.  "Yeah, sure."

Jason smiled lightly, handing the phone to him. "Here, put your number in."

Tim did so, but what caught him off guard was Jason taking the phone back and capturing a photo of Tim. He flushed a little. The picture probably had him wide eyes in surprise looking like a deer in headlights. Embarrassing. Something he didn't want Jason to keep as an memento. 

"You too," Tim said, handing his phone to Jason. He wasn't going to take a picture. What was the point? They were most likely going to call each other a couple times before forgetting each other and moving on. 

Giving another small grin, Jason handed the phone back. "There you go." 

What now. What were they suppose to do? Talk? Party? Tim wasn't the best at those things.

"Well just so you know singing with you was the most fun I've had on this entire vacation." 

Tim nodded, not really paying attention. All he wanted to do was to go back to his hotel room and finish reading his book. He had his share of partying. 

Looking back to Jason, he quietly slipped away more focused on getting away from the party. 

He kind of wished he said goodbye.

Due to looking away on account of being nervous, it took Jason a while to realize that Tim had already left. 

He sighed and took out his phone, looking back at the picture and couldn't help but laugh at the expression that dawned Tim's face. 

"Timothy, huh?"

Tim stood awaiting instructions from Bruce, trying his hardest not to let his eyes droop and body fall over.

The mission they had just came back from resulted in an all night chase for the crooks who caused the trouble in the first place and it was taking Tim all his strength to open his eyes and see straight. . 

The teenager yawned as a reminder to Bruce that he didn't have all night, and looked sleepy eyed towards Bruce as the man typed away at the Bat-Computer, putting in information of the night's mission. 

Bruce stretched, completing the act of entering the information before turning to Tim. He furrowed his brows at the other, before straightening himself up and speaking. 

"That will be all Tim. Have a good rest." 

Tim gave a small nod, glad that it was all over. He spun on his heels and turned to leave, but instead stumbled slightly.

Man was he tired. He hoped Bruce didn't see, but unfortunately he did. 

Bruce noticed instantly and sighed, keeping his chair and himself turned towards Tim. 

"Tim." 

The robin turned and saw Bruce motioning for him to come over. 

Tim raised an eyebrow, but did so approaching Bruce. "Yes?"

Bruce sighed once more before patting his leg and giving the teenager a soft smile. 

Tim smiled back sleepily, crawling into Bruce's lap and resting his head on his chest.

Bruce instantly went back to typing, but at some times he would pat Tim's head soothingly. 

And without a doubt, Tim fell asleep in Bruce's hold, smiling.

What was this? 

The fifth night in a row they've done this?

Tim could have stopped any time he wanted, could have ran away, never see Jason again. He could of fought back, tell Jason to get over himself. 

Yet here he was, lying on the ground, blood pooling from him and bruises forming. 

Whenever he was asked about the bruises, he would just say that he got caught up with a bad gang. Truth was, he got caught up in his own guilt

Jason came back not too long ago. And to what? Him. The new robin. The impostor. The replacement. 

This was his guilt, anyone could tell him that it wasn't his fault, but Jason was dead, now alive, and that fueled it. 

In payment for his sins, every night, he would let Jason take his anger out on him. Make him bleed and suffer so good. The other night he was close to killing him. Jason Pressed a blade to neck and shouted threats at him And yet, Tim didn't flinch a bit. This was his punishment. The only thing he felt, was the need to do this. 

Now, he looked up to see Jason approach him, or at least his silhouette. Tim's vision began to blur, he could feel himself drift off. Apparently Jason wasn't going to let that happen anytime soon since he ran his gloved fingers through Tim's hair before yanking him up by it. 

Tim tried his hardest to stare straight at Jason, yet it was killing him inside to do so. He usually kept quiet during these so called sessions, but he wanted to ask Jason something.

He wanted to ask Jason If he was feeling better. If this was helping him.

He opened his mouth, he tried, but all that came out were tears. Stupid, hot tears streaming down his face.  He tried so hard, and a sob came out along with broken up words. Of all times, why was this happening now. He usually kept quiet...but now it was different. 

At that moment, Tim could see a bit of emotion flickering across Jason's face. Anger....Pity...Maybe even concern...

Yet, Jason tightened his grip on Tim's hair, resulting in Tim wincing.

"You want to know why I'm doing this? Is that what you're trying to say?"

Tim wanted to shake his head. He knew exactly why Jason was doing this. It hurt though to move his neck. He tried, but it only ended in more winces. 

Jason chuckled. He was enjoying this slightly or at least pretending to, Tim could tell. 

"Because it's fun Tim," he started. "Because I want to see you in pain." 

In that instant, Tim knew he was lying. He knew that what Jason just said wasn't the reason he was doing this. 

"......It's my way of saying, fuck you for replacing me." 

And there it was. There's the reason. 

Jason tightened his grip again before throwing Tim to the ground. 

That was a sign that they were done for the night. 

He should leave it alone, but he couldn't help but let it cloud his mind. He still wanted to know if Jason was feeling better. 

As Jason walked away to leave, Tim reached out and tugged on Jason's pant leg. 

What he got in return was a swift kick in the stomach.

"You wouldn't want to get that close to me replacement. You might not survive."

Jason continued on, as if it was nothing, leaving Tim to catch his breath.

What seemed like a miracle happened next. Tim opened his mouth and finally the words he want to say came out. 

"Does.........Does this......Make...You...Feel better?"

To Tim's surprise in made Jason stop in his tracks and stay still for a while. 

"No, it doesn't"

Tim couldn't believe that he was actually peering through his front door being on the look out for his little neighbor Jason.

His mother asked him to get the mail, and now since Jason moved in next door not too long ago,  getting the mail was now a 20 minute process. Mostly because Tim did everything in his power to avoid Jason and his large amount of puns along with flirts.

Tim took a deep breath and opened the door a bit wider seeing that the coast was clear and gave himself a small nod. 

Walking slowly out of his own house, he continued to look around, just to make sure that Jason wasn't near at the moment. He turned around and walked backwards, looking to see if Jason would pop up from Tim's back fence, because yes, the kid has done that before. Giving a sigh of relieve, he looked back to turn around and- Crap. 

"Hey Baby," The kid greeted, giving a devious grin and looking up at Tim through his thick black shades. 

Tim groaned before turning fully to look at the kid. "Hello Jason," Tim said reluctantly, still wanting to grab the mail and walk quickly back into the house. 

"And how is my beautiful angel doing today," Jason asked leaning against the front fence door. 

Tim gave another groan before pinching the bridge of his nose. "Here we go again," he mumbled to himself. 

Jason reached into his red and black messenger back to pull out two juice boxes. He took one of them  and in one swift move placed the straw into the box before taking a sip. Jason grinned, a grin that showed that he thought he was probably the coolest kid in the world for doing that trick.

"I brought a juice box for you too  babe," Jason announced proudly before handing the juice box to Tim. 

"Ah...Thanks.," Tim said taking the juice box into his own hands. Yeah, he wasn't going to drink this any time soon. 

"Um, look Jason I need to go back inside and give my parents the mail..." 

"Alright, I'll wait for you to come back," Jason piped up cheerfully. 

Oh boy. 

"I also have some homework I need to finish so I might not come back out today," Tim added, hoping that would be enough to get the kid off his back. 

Jason gave a sigh before taking another sip of his apple juice and looking up to give a smirk at Tim. He placed the juice box into the pocket of his messenger bag, only to put his hands in a pointing position at Tim. 

"Woo, Baby if I had to list ten reasons why I hate you, it would be about how I'm still not in your pants." 

Tim couldn't help but stay there frozen, in disbelief that this kid actually said this to him. He probably got it from Dick, another neighbor down the street. Tim swore that he was going to punch Dick later for this. 

"Ah, ...Aren't you like twelve or something?"

Jason gave a little laugh. "Haha yeah, 12." 

He paused to lower his shades showing a more serious look. "And a half." 

Tim completely stood there not knowing how to respond. That look Jason just gave was pretty creepy enough.

"Yeah... Look you're nice and all...But I'm 15...and you're 12-" 

Jason gave a bit of a pouty look upon hearing this. 

"Okay and a half," Tim continued. "Anyways what I mean to say is that I'm too old for you.." He couldn't believe that he was actually explaining this or that he felt a bit bad for saying this. 

Though after Tim finished, Jason gave a bit of a understanding nod. "Alright, I'll wait for you then," Jason said giving another smirk. 

Tim groaned before going to his mailbox quickly and retrieving his mail. "Goodbye Jason," Tim said annoyed, returning to his house. 

"You just wait babe! When I get older, I'll be so hot and I'll be taller than you, and I'll be the best boyfriend in the world," Jason shouted behind him. 

Tim rolled his eyes, shutting the door behind him. 

"Not gonna happen," Tim said to himself.
