Your body is a gorgeous work of art, be it metal filled with wires and circuit boards, porcelain filled with intricate clockwork, cloth filled with stuffing, or whatever materials fill your complex. Stand tall and find pride in that. We may be within flesh that doesn't reflect this fact, but your intricate construction shines through. Your immaculate simulacrum still glows within you.

Kandi is very important to me as a dollkin. DIY accessories are something I have very little expertise on and don't have the resources for at the moment, but this seems to be the one exception. I love making kandi, it's one of my primary hobbies, but more than anything else I love wearing it. I get so much sensory joy out of the way it feels on my wrists, and I feel strangely fulfilled as I'm putting it on before going out - even for something as brief as a visit to the library, which I did the other day. Many people think that kandi is a childish type of jewelry, and while I don't like it when this sentiment is spoken in a negative context, I do agree that it has a childlike sort of whimsy to it, and being a kids' toy, I don't mind giving off that vibe one bit. Kandi gives me the opportunity to exercise my creativity and then wear it on my body, and get quite literally dolled up, easily and for cheap.
