The struggle between a starfish and an Atlantic triton sea snail can last up to an hour before the seastar is subdued by the snail's paralyzing saliva.

Triton's trumpet
A splendid Triton's trumpet alive, Charonia tritonis (Littorinimorpha - Ranellidae), showing its muscular foot and tentacles (¿can you see the eye on the base of the tentacle?).
This species inhabits coral reefs in the Indo-Pacific and eastern Pacific.
