“a hunger, you say?” the deity questions, sparing a glance and a grin at the other other.  “is this more of a metaphorical hunger, or a literal one?  ‘cos if it’s the latter, i could be persuaded to share some of this with you.”  they gesture down to the plate in front of them.  there’s easily enough to feed more than one person - if one of them wasn’t a god.  “although... if it’s the former, i’m going to need to know more.”
