Welcome to Scylla's Fascinating Chimera Project! An experimentation and chimera-themed Splatoon AU made by SilverStarSheep.

This lore is open to anyone that wants to make OCs based off of it! More people liked it than I initially thought, and with so much general interest, I thought it best to put all the lore where people can easily access and read it.

This AU follows a mad scientist named Scylla, who tricks and traps sea creatures in her laboratory Charybdis, where she mutates and transforms them into chimeras. She keeps them trapped there for her own amusement, researching how they react and cope with their new bodies.

I find a lot of Agent 3 OCs don't want to become captain of the Squidbeak, but Oliver would totally lean into the role.

In my take on the story, he's invested a lot of time working as an agent, as well as helping the Octarian plight and trying to make their lives better. Him becoming captain would be a long time coming, really!

i finally managed to redesign an old oc of mine! im technically gonna redesign the original too for her pre-experiment stuff, but this is her current (and canon) one!

her name is Ricin, after the poison, and the proper reference can be found on her Toyhou.se. she was also made to fit in with the lore of @/chimeralabcharybdis :D
