Carrie and Steven's initial reaction to Becky and Tobey dating. Also their reactions in the future when those two become engaged.

"honey down. It's not the end of the world-"

"no you're underreacting! Our daughter is going to marry Tobey!!!"

"Blu, chase! remember what I told you two about code Mccallister?"

Steven looked up from the death ray he was tinkering on. By his expression it was clear he saw nothing wrong with what he was doing. Chase and Blu were at his side handing him tools. Carrie exhaled pinching the bridge of her nose. "You are not turning out daughter's fiance into goop." She says sternly.

"im not going to do that-"

"good."

There was a brief pause in the air.

"dad says he's going to disintegrate tobey." Blu chimed giggling.

"STEVEN ANDREW BOXLEITNER!!"

Wg Episode idea and possible future rp idea for you and @erraticeris Mindful Manners Summary: A new female villain dressed up like a Victorian nanny causes trouble in Fair City. She proclaims herself to be a "person of justice", but her actions only cause chaos and she is too stubborn to believe she is in the wrong. Her name Miss Manners. She has mind control powers that only affect kids under the age of 16. Miss Manners believes every child should behave like well mannered and responsible adults, like their parents. So any child she finds "misbehaving". She hypnotizes them to act more like their parents would. She stubbornly believes all parents are the best role models for their children. She targets the villain kids and hypnotizes them to act like their parents. ex. Tobey acting like his mother and Victoria acting like her parents. (Eileen is affected too, but I don't know who her parents are so that is up in the air.) Wordgirl and Amazo Lad try to intervene to stop Miss Manners because you can't mind control children lady! Miss Manners sees the heroes' actions as "misbehaving" so she hypnotizes them as well. "You two should really act more like your parents!" Miss Manners cackles. She and the citizens are stunned and shocked when Amazo Lad and Wordgirl start stealing their favorite stuff and committing other crimes as well. Miss Manners had no clue their parents were criminals. (Carrie is still a cat villain in this episode.) So Fair City is in trouble. Featured words: Behavior and Imitation

Funny next gen headcanon. A music producer heard Dr. Two Brains 'Dr. Cool Brains' rap. He approached Dr. Two Brains before he got the mouse brain removed and asked to buy the song from the mad scientist promising royalties. Two Brains agreed and Steven forgotten about the exchange until some time later when radios and records of the Dr. Coo Brains rap were being played around Fair City. Steven now understood where he got these royalty checks from time to time. He thought it was because of his old inventions. Suffice to say neither Chase nor Becky were happy with the development. Especially since the song has become popular, not top ten charts but still pretty well known and liked.

A home alone au type experience featuring Chase and Becky who got left home alone by accident when Blu was still a baby. Don't worry Carrie and Steven took Blu along, they accidentally forgot their two oldest.

Angst idea What if Becky or Chase develop some of Matthew's powers when they get older. With Chase, he develops Maddrix's power of creating an ionized shield around himself or other objects. Becky is able to generate ionized blasts. Both Becky and Chase are surprised by the sudden new powers. (I think Blu doesn't get them because like Steven it skipped him and she is a carrier.) Chase thinks it might have something to do with Amazo Guy's species. Becky thinks it might have something to do with Lexicon except Bob has never seen any lexiconian use that type of power before. So the kids go to their resident hero expert aka their dad and demonstrate their new powers to him. They want to ask their dead about their new powers. They didn't expect Steven to have such a dark and horrified expression.

oh thats so good angst right there lets say they both well in their late teens at this point. like becky is 16 and chase is 18. chase actually held off saying anything about his new power at first only bc he was playing around with them a bit (dw he wasn't recklessly going around town using it. it kinda came out when he was battling liam. bc they spar sometimes.) I can picture steven trying to play it off like he doesn't know, bc he is so not ready to tell them about his past. i mean dealing with him as two brains was different way different than his professor terror days

ofc they dont really buy it. if their father didn't truly know then why such cold reaction? so they start to dig into the past a little. and maddrix doesn't return in this au until four years after this-

and yes blu was just a carrier. which is why maddrix didn't have trouble transferring some of his powers to her

Was Liam around when Steven became Dr. Two Brains? If so how did he react to how Chase was being affected by it?

liam DOES know about the two brains steven incident and yeah he's dialed back on the bullying even liam has lines he wouldn't cross. and seeing how much Chase was going through with his dad, liam realized he should cut him some slack. has even considered stopping some of two brains plans as well. fighting your parent is not fun man and the whole miss power arc is another can of worms-

Chase was normally a patient person. He wasn’t a go with the flow type of guy but he also wasn’t an emotional volcano kind of like how Liam used to be. But now, Chase’s patient was wearing thin. It was directed towards his dad Steven. Ever since he and Becky got their new powers that were related to each other in a way, Their dad had been acting stranger than usual. He always seems so close to a big freak out every time one of them used or practiced their new power. Steven had claimed he had no idea where the new powers came from. It was obvious that he was lying. This is what agitated Chase most of all. What was his dad trying to hide. Even their mom had no clue. It was frustrating. Chase wasn’t a little kid anymore. Whatever adult issue this was he had a right to hear it especially if it concerned him and his sister. What was his dad so afraid of?

Steven spent most of this time holed up in his lab. maybe that would have been normal if it was not for the fact of how strange he was acting. Carrie hadn't seen Steven so closed up and distant since.....well she couldn't recall. when he stopped showing up to dinner that made them all more worried and concerned. Each one of them would knock on his lab door trying to get some sort of response or reasoning behind it all. Steven never replied. "Is dad mad at us?" blu asked one night over lasagna. "no...he's just busy with work lately." carrie tried to reassure. Part of her wondered back to the photo she had found a few months back. Of a man who looked quite like her husband. she tried asking about the photo. Steven just took it away claiming it was no one important...but it was clear there had been some sort of painful memories attached to the picture. the strange man had to be related to steven somehow. or at least someone he knew back then. was it possible it had to do with becky and chase's new abilities?
