July has been pretty relaxing so far! This week, my mind has been through adventure... through my summer homework. I read Night by Elie Wiesel and The Metamorphosis by Franz Kafka. Through these books, I experienced a man’s transformation into an insect (along with his family’s struggles and overcoming), and a man’s heartbreaking journey through the Holocaust. These are true works of literature that will live forever.

And... I painted! I took a shot at some watercolor and ended up drawing some hair (it’s probably easier than painting a face). I’ve been a hermit. :P Somebody tell the outside world hi for me! Though I’ve been out of contact, I’ve been working on becoming a little more in control of my life. I’ve been getting up early to take advantage of my mornings and get things done, and I’ve never felt so alive. I’m slowly becoming a citizen of the morning club (though if I could have any superpower, it would be not having to sleep ever again).
