I am 43 but still get asked to model, it's flattering and fun doing shoots. But I do the styling and it's a collaboration, not someone dictating to me what I should wear, how I should pose and I choose who I want to work with. Models need to empower themselves. We need to see people from all backgrounds, creeds and ages in the industry otherwise it's boring and unhealthy. Modelling is a release from my other work, my art, writing and music. I learnt about clothes and image from a young age and when you understand the power of image you can use it creatively to empower yourself.
