So stop looking at the past and all the things you can’t change. They’re done and over with. Now is the time for you to look to the future, grasp it by the hand, and decide where you want to go. I told you once before, and I’ll say it again—this is your life, Chase. Only you can decide what it’s going to be like. Don’t let outside forces dictate it for you.
while watching this video (if ogling is another term for watching then yeah..) all the time I was like shit hes so fckn CUTE:"> hahaha moving on I'm really curious about the book 3 because of the reviews i read lol some of them thought that the reason why Lacey published another book is because of the sales or some shit but NO.. the 3rd book is about Chase himself..the snowflakes quarterback Chase my love underwent knee surgery last 2012 months before publishing finding chase and maybe Lacey thought Gosh he really loves to play football then what ifs are playing on his and her head or they talked about it or something like its sharing whats going on in his head while he's healing something like that i dont know.. the surgery is MAJOR guys not MINOR according to the article that I read.. The thing that makes this book so special is because it came from real life experience and the characters represents a big role in Laceys life.. that's the reason why I love the book aside from its a must read book :D
om my own understanding about the main characters
Nikki - Laceys first love (Michael)
Chase - Lacey and a bit of Chase Walden
Brittney - Laceys husband (James)
for the 3rd book life experience of chase i guess :))
Book Recommendation #1: Chasing Nikki by Lacey Weatherford
Been using goodreads for a little while now and it's been a wonderful tool for finding books that I'm interested in. Sadly though, only maybe 3 out of the 10 books I read are actually books I would recommend to a friend. Well, I read one today that made me wanna start recommending and sharing. I would do it on facebook but that's too personal. Too much a hassle on twitter because of the character limit. Goodreads is too impersonal... so here we are on tumblr :) I guess I'll be doing random book recommendations and not-really reviews but just my views on the book (without spoilers).
Book Recommendation #1
Chasing Nikki by Lacey Weatherford
I honestly started reading this book because I was stressed and in need of a cheesy, carefree, lovable, high school-sports-romance novel. The storyline was cute and Chase and Nikki were totally adorable together but what blew me away was the ending (you know what I mean if you read it). Even after I finished reading the scene, I couldn't believe that she made that happen. I completely loved the novel and want to recommend it to anyone who needs some loving and cheesiness after a long day. With that said, I don't think I'll be able to read the sequel, Finding Chase. It just wouldn't be right for me...
I totally don't expect anyone to read this but just gonna use it as my outlet for release and if anyone ends up reading it, I hope you give the book a chance :)
for those who have read the book:
HOW COULD NIKKI JUST DIE LIKE THAT?!?!? ARGHHHH POOR NIKKI AND CHASE. And I just can't bear to start reading the sequel about Chase and Brittney. I knew she wants him to be happy and move on with his life but it just seems like the sequel is disregarding the Chase-Nikki love story to me :(
Most people my age (15/16) are all out drinking and partying because it's school holidays, then there's me crying over yet another book's ending even though I only started reading it today! I can't believe how attached I've become to these characters, so much so I can feel one of the character's pain, too many feels for one night, me thinks
Good God This Book Was Amazing. So Much Heartfelt Emotion. I Definitely Recommend This Book. But If You Do Decide To Read This Have Tissues Ready. TRUST ME!
