so i redid their story some as well. so instead of there being FUCKING FOUR OF THEM its just one character kinda pulling a double [triple?] agent thing. they work for both vile and acme at the same time, and through Julia, helping/working for Carmen as well! and as much as i liked the childhood friends trope i had before, now they were just a general vile student, carmen was only ever a fellow classmate during her second redo year, so they never got close, only ever maybe occasionally bumping into each other in class and such.
only after carmen escaped and started causing trouble for vile [and eventually acme] did they [card] ever learn who she was. ultimately, they are on the side of good, but they have people they care about in all both groups so they have a hard time getting themself to finally to just default to one side/"slip up" and let one group find out they work for the others so they no longer have the stress of working for opposite sides and trying to keep both sides from realizing theyre working for the other.
also wanting to help with information or clear up confusion but also not wanting to seem suspicious with how much they seem to know about the inner workings of things. i have more story ideas but i dont want this to be too long so ill reign myself in until someone asks for i give in and make another post.
