Day 140 // Two things that help me thrive-- sunlight and good company. In this instance I had both. Yesterday I was lucky enough to spend part of the afternoon wandering around an abandoned bike park with my talented sister-in-law. We bonded over the trickiness of painting trees, each discussing our process to translate them on a page. It only made sense then for me to work from that conversation in today's piece. Trees are challenging, but it's important to practice in the struggle. Hopefully this is an extension of the words we shared yesterday.
