It was late Friday afternoon and Castiel's last class had ended almost an hour ago. He had stayed behind today to finish grading some papers before he headed home.
As he read through a really disturbing short story one of his students had written he found himself drifting off into his own thoughts of a certain spot he'd like to visit when he needed some time on his own. That's what he really needed today; some alone time, seeing as he had just gotten off the phone with his wife and to say the least it wasn't a pleasant conversation.
Castiel let out a rough sigh before collecting up his things and getting up from his desk. No use still trying to grade papers when he just couldn't focus. It took him all but a few short minutes to make his way out to the parking lot and to his car. It wasn't the nicest car out there but all he really cared about was that it worked.
Today obviously just wasn't his day because his not so great car decided to stop working the moment he got in it and attempted to start it. Castiel let out a frustrated groan after a few failed attempts at starting up the car.
Another sigh left his mouth as he slowly got out of the car. "You were working fine this morning..." he mumbled to himself as he propped open the hood of the car. He wasn't exactly sure what good this was doing as he didn't know what on earth he was even looking at. He stared at the car for a long moment trying to decide what to do. Calling someone seemed like the best option but he didn't know who to call...
