Honestly I like to think that, because Chapter Two was a time where Kris was less confident in themselves, they didn’t even consider Berdly would ever want to go to the festival with THEM of all people.

But their confidence grows as the chapters go on. The slowly learn to be themself. So in Chapter 3, when give the choice, they’re willing to consider Berdly as a valid option to think of.

But then when he’s actually right there, Kris considers chickening out in fear that this is some sort of prank. Kris is a professional prankster, so of course they would be on their guard for any pranks coming their way.

Nick spends most of The Great Gatsby thinking he should keep his thoughts to himself because his dad tells him it’s bad to express what he feels but by the end of the book he breaks out of that mindset and realizes it’s okay it express how he truly feels and even vocalizes his support of Gatsby when the entire world is determined to paint him in a bad light. This is an allegory for absolutely nothing.

I’ve been getting back into Poppy Playtime and this is what it lowkey feels like

It's honestly starting to anger me how, in a lot of the fanart I see of Spamtenna x Radiostatic, a lot of people associate Spamton with Alastor and Tenna with Vox. And I understand it, in a way. Tenna and Vox both have TV heads, so they're paired together. By process of elimination, that leaves only Spamton and Alastor to be paired together but like come on.

Spamton and Vox are both savvy businessmen who are constantly trying to be bigger, to be BRIGHTER. They are willing to do anything to rise above their current status so they may have the power they desire, even sacrifice people who are close to them. They both also talk about Heaven and things associated with Heaven quite a lot. Vox wanted to take over Heaven, and Spamton wanted to ascend to Heaven. Vox's demon form in Season 2 Episode Five made him resemble a seraphim, and Spamton NEO resembled an angel.

Tenna and Alastor are both old-timey men who are stuck in the past. Tenna wishes for everything to go back to the way it once was, and Alastor refuses to adapt with the times and prefers to to instead cling on to the outdated technology (that being radio). Also, they both wear red and have a static filter over their voice at all times.

I haven't gotten to the part of the anime where Zoro gets his cursed sword but I like to imagine that at least in the Live Action One Piece, the hallucination of Mihawk IS the curse that comes with the sword.

Thinking of how Kris tends to gravitate towards people who try to make them feel like shit and portray false facades of confidence to mask their own insecurities (Susie and Berdly) because Kris’s opinion of themselves is so shitty that they want other people to validate the view they have of themselves.
