George was just minding his shop, grinning away at people in a black and white world. But that was alright. Fred and him-- they always had a knack for bringing excitement in a normally colorless world. When Fred died, George wasn't sure if he would be able to open himself up to ever see color.
Three years later, he was proved wrong.
As he was working with a customer, George stopped talking suddenly. His eyes widened as if he was seeing his shop for the first time. And in a way, he was.
There were blues, greens, reds, purples, and all sorts of colors that George could never have dreamed of. His heart was soaring. This was the most beautiful thing he's ever seen.
