They hadn’t spoken much, outside of her check-ups and general group discussions, and it frustrated Sienna a little. She could tell he was shy - brilliant too, but never in the centre of the chit-chat back on the ship. Bring in a little science, however, and she could see his eyes shine and his voice come to life. A complete contrast to herself. And Sienna couldn’t help but feel old whenever she saw him, seeming even younger than his years when he was crouched over a report, and reminding her of her baby brother back on earth. A fond smile came to her at the thought of it and she sauntered over to where he sat upon the grass.
“Hey, can I ask... just how old were you when they picked you to come out here? Because you make me feel about a hundred, you know? And you should never make a lady feel her age, honey,” Sienna joked, winking at him.
