Aksel may have had one too many glasses of wine at this point in the evening. Something about being bombarded with successful relationships when her own romantic life was in a constant disarray left her feeling bitter. Unbecoming as it was she did her best to mask her personal feelings on love with her unwaivering happiness for the couple. She was doing well as she didn't need to pretend to be happy for Ben and Alicia, it came natural to smile and enjoy the evening between the twisting in her gut. At least it had been until she quite literally ran into Leo. "We've gotta stop meeting like this." Aksel teased despite herself, rubbing her arm as she avoided eye contact with the man, "Are you okay? No wine spillage?" She asked finally bringing her eyes up to his face with a forced smile.

WAREHOUSE RAVE

Vivienne had an affinity for raves- a place where she could slap glitter on, step into a mask and hide in neon lights and a sea of bodies. A place where no one wanted anything from her, and the music felt like it was humming along with her pulse. She had found her first rave when she was sixteen by total mistake, but she went back over and over again on purpose. So when she'd heard the whisperings of this secret, she found her way in, and it was magnificent. Until someone stomped graciously on her foot, furrowing her brows, she pulled her stocking-clad foot from her docs and scrutinized it. Then, holding it out to the person beside her, she frowned, "Does my baby toe look swollen?" She asked, holding out a bottle of unopened water as a symbolic peace offering. An offering she made more for herself to keep her social anxiety from flaring up and ruining any fun she had a chance of having.
