It was one hell of a night that had left her stomach fluttering for weeks since it had happened. Vivienne had mainly attempted to put his lips, hands, and him out of her mind. There was enough on her plate. She couldn't, shouldn't- would not add the fluttery feeling that took over whenever she thought of Theo to take over. It was what she told herself, swore to herself. It had been this way for four years, ever since Sam's unceremonious ghosting, ever since she lost her job, the future she thought she would have, and just as she thought she was getting the hang of life again, her brother died. Everything she still hadn't told Theo, all excellent reasons to stop while she was ahead. At least that's what she told herself while trying to justify the back and forth she was wrestling with while holding a thank you gift for the night he stayed up all night with her. Before Viv could back out, run away and hide from herself she knocked on his door, smiling easily despite herself when he opened the door. "I know it's not our usual three a.m meeting, but I figured I'd see what you look like at a normal hour." She smiled, her eyes raking over him. "Sorry I didn't call first. I do come with gifts." She said, holding up a copy Venus and Aprodite: a biography of desire. "There is a section about Beyonce in here." She says eyes scanning the book. "To be fair it's my copy, has my little notes in the margins and what not." She said, "I figured we could start a sort of unofficial book club with the two of us. What do you think?"
