Truthfully, Jamie was a little shaken by how much he’d enjoyed his conversation with Piper and had definitely not expected to stumble away from it much drunker than he had gone into it. He probably should be finding some water. Or his beta. Or … something Responsible. Instead, he caught a voice and followed it to where there was apparently a singing contest going on. That was a great idea! Who didn’t love music?
Ecstatically, he snagged the first willing person he saw and swung them into an impromptu dance through the duration of someone’s upbeat choice before spinning and finding himself nearly face to face with a familiar Diamond wolf. “Elijah!” He hadn’t hedged bets on whether or not they’d come but he would have likely put his money on ‘no’, so it was a doubly pleasant surprise to see them here.
“Welcome! Are you having fun?” Someone else got on the stage and Jamie felt himself beginning to grin. “Dance with me, Elijah. Pretty please?” There was probably a rule that said you had to dance with one of the hosts, somewhere. If not, there should be. He was going to have to remember to tell someone to add it before holding out his hand and a pout.
