It’s been roughly a week since Emmaline had left New York City and the days weren’t getting easier. He hated not waking up to her face, or even the crease she left behind before leaving for work. The apartment felt cold, which was pushing him even harder to figure out what he can do to change the current state of their home city. Ben arrived at the restaurant and the hostess guided him to the table that had been on reserve. He noticed the table with four chairs on the end assuming they ran out of two person chairs. He didn’t question it, since he didn’t want to make any extra trouble for the hostess. He sat in one of the chairs and glanced over the menu briefly before checking his phone, still no work from Emmaline. He sighed and put the phone in his pocket, before paying more attention to the menu in front of him. @shapeitupliam
