who: wendy & @colincubs where: the lost boys’ apartment
Despite their apartment finally being clean after the havoc that had ensued the previous weekend, the fridge had been raided by drunken partygoers, leaving it quite empty. Wendy couldn’t stand the thought of leaving her unofficial children without food, so she’d enlisted the help of Cubby to come grocery shopping with her. “I think those are all the bags?” she confirmed, leaving it as a question as she surveyed the bags they’d carried inside on the floor. Having to put it all away could be another boy’s job, but Wendy hurried to get the perishables into the fridge and freezer, organizing it far more than the residents of the house ever would. It would likely be wrecked by tomorrow, but at least she knew she’d done what she could to help. “Should we leave out the things to make dinner, at least? I was going to whip something up before heading back home, just so you don’t have to worry about. cooking tonight,” Wendy offered. If it were up to them, she knew they’d order pizza for the rest of their lives and bee satisfied, but someone had to make sure their diets weren’t filled with just bread and cheese.
