Frank hadn’t actually stopped to see Dorcas in longer than he would’ve liked to admit. He tried to keep himself on track with checking in, just because he liked to make sure they were okay. Walking to her office, he made a small knock before walking inside. “Long time no see, Doe. How have you been? Almost thought you were avoiding me.” He joked, a small smile on his face.

Mary had been sitting in her apartment all day.  Typically she would be out working all day, but seeing as she was recently fired, that wasn’t in the cards, so she had spent the past week holed up in her apartment.  While she was typically very responsible, that had been thrown out the window, as she stayed up until all hours of the night, trying to figure out how on earth she was going to get the money to open a bakery.  Figuring that she should use her time on something useful, about five hours ago, Mary began searching the newspapers for places she could buy.  She was oblivious to the hours passing by her, when all of the sudden she heard a knock at the door.  “Coming!” @foxlikegazelle

emmeline stepped out of mr. mulpepper’s apothecary, crowd was buzzing as it would on any other summer day and as much as she didn’t enjoy the occasional elbow - it felt good to be busy, just days before the beginning of training. she had easily been running errands for her mum, or playing catchup to be frank -- it should have all been done as of sunday, but somehow sleeping in and catching up with letters was much more important --

she was just about to step into flourish and blotts when she noticed the familiar face -- one that she had missed ever so dearly, “be still my heart - dorcas meadowes, you are a sight for sore eyes”
