Learning is lifelong passion and learning about wine and all its poetic complexity and variety has enriched and complimented my life immensely!) Now on to one of my favorite Wines, Chateau Bouscasse. Chateau Bouscasse is bold powerful yet elegant wine, a synergistic blend of Tannat, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc hailing from Boudreaux, France. The Tannat grape varietal has been cultivated by master genius wine maker Alain Brumont and grows in the Pyrenees mountains which is the perfect terroir to grow this grape so Uber rich in tannins. As a poet, there’s something ultra poetic about viniculture and winemaking. The French have been making wine for thousands of years and in spite of bad smoking habits they live to be well in their 80’s and 90s because of their fondness and cultural habits of drinking wine and it’s anti-aging properties, mostly phytocompound of reservatrol founding grape skin and seed and now sold in capsule form.
