I spotted this strikingly beautiful unknown clematis which comes in a superb dark blue color in the garden of Château de l’Islette. Besides the outstanding color I love that the flower petals are a little bit more narrow and lance-shaped than you often find in many of the modern hybrids. That gives this clematis an even more elegant and sophisticated look.
