i wrote this little random blurb a while back. i don’t think it’ll ever make it into the final cut but it was fun to write from dylan’s pov and see them having fun together <3

i was going through the endless documents i have and found a small little blurb for a story i wanted to write a few years ago. i’m putting it under the cut in case anyone wants to read it.. thought it was kinda fun hehe

To be somewhere new is to be lonely. But they don’t tell you that part of it. It is fresh starts and new beginnings, everything brand new. It is bright lights and big spaces only filled with the possibilities of everything about to happen. It is that sinking feeling that comes with the realization that maybe this isn’t as great as everyone made it seem. It is long nights filled with silence, with nothing more than the soft clicks of fingertips on computer keys. It is breakfast alone in the mornings, then days spent with houseplants.
