I don't usually do headcannons and I'm v white, so I hope I got this right! If I offended anyone, I'm sorry, and I'll take it down immediately.
Chato would overhear you muttering to yourself in Spanish, especially cursing, during missions and would always find it at least a little amusing.
The two of you would often stick close to one another, feeling different than the others for many reasons.
Some other members of the squad know a bit of Spanish but the two of you speak it fluently, having your own conversations that the others couldn’t keep up with.

When he sees you, he’s immediately glad for the extra spice in the team.
You move in your fighting like a dance, and he’s often growing distracted by it, watching your hips.
When you’re in the bar, you instantly go for the tequila, and force Chato to have a shot with you.
You don’t get bothered by the comments that the others make - especially Captain Boomerang - about you being a ‘sexy latina’ but Chato does singe his unicorn when he’s not looking.
When you’re frustrated, you have a tongue as sharp as a razor, and no one, not even Chato, is safe from your chiding.
This does make you come across as arrogant to some - but you prefer to call it confidence.
Chato is one of the few that will yell back at you, and though it might seem like you two are about to fight each other to the death from the outside, it really is just a form of foreplay.
