this was the inspiration. i joke about the aesthetic and thematic parallels of jnr and team seven all the time, so this was going to happen sooner or later. nora’s dressing up as sakura, but ren wouldn’t participate if jaune wasn’t going to be naruto.

i really wonder how their semblance would mesh with charlie’s like….. can u imagine ren Shushing a crowd and charlie panicking cause it feels like she’s fallen into a black hole
!!!! I WANT. semblances like theirs have always been so fascinating to me, and i feel like they could have a lot of interesting interactions and conversations about it. it’s super rare of ren to be open to someone else about their semblance, they’ve mostly just explained the flaws and general warnings to people / but if they learned of charlie’s they’d definitely be more open to discussing it with someone who understands.
