Omg, not at all!! I reread it from the beginning and the new chapter was so amazing!! I want to hug Belle so hard...I see Gold's side, but ultimately given the inherent power imbalance between them, I feel worse for her. You balance angst and sexytimes so well and that is what I love about your stories!! ����

As he said, it’s the worst thing he’s ever done. And Belle did know about 60% of it already, it’s just the money and the anonymous offer she was unaware of. What matters now is how Belle processes the information, and whether she feels capable of forgiving him. Whether what they had together is worth fighting to save, or if it’s time to just cut it loose it isn’t,

All that while dealing with the critical illness of her only surviving parental figure. So y’know, ideal circumstances >.>

Granny’s gonna get medical attention, but it’ll be another chapter before we see a continuation of that scene - gotta give Gold a chapter first!

To be fair, nothing that came out this chapter is news. Belle just has all the information now - we saw Gold intimidate Moe, and Moe throw Belle out, in previous flashbacks. It’s also worth clarifying that Belle’s nightmare isn’t an accurate version of that scene, because no one dreams about their memories verbatim, so it’s the scariest, darkest version of her memory of that day.
